20.8.12 WARNING : HOLE MAY NOT BE ACTIVE

Image Funbus

After a huge weekend of work and dragging myself out of bed on a Monday morning of all days I've come to the time in my new daily blogging routine where I'm feeling the commitment! I'm not about to stop, oh no! But I am wondering who is actually reading this? What do I write about on the days life isn't so full of projects and wonderment? How do I successfully merge work and personal, after all one is affected by the other no? All valid questions for anyone who has dedicated themselves to the blogisphere I imagine...

I reckon the only way to do it is feel my way and approach blogging like this wall decal, also noting the cautionary advice of 'Warning : Hole may not be active'! By this I mean I will always be here but who knows what I'll be going on about! Happy Monday my lovely blog compadres.

  2. Tee hee. I led almost this exact discussion at the recent ABCD Meet-up in Rozelle on Thursday. I was talking about what we do and don't share online and this, as it happened, was wear the conversation turned to.

    1. Yes, it's a real issue Katie! Have you ever come across the various posts out there titled 'Things I'm afraid to tell you'? Google them if not... incredible! Tx

  3. Maybe I am an image nerd, but I like photo's and drawings that show or explain me something. For discussions I don't look in blogs, moreover I skip most of the (personal) additions. In my own blogs for art (lieskoster.blogspot.com) and craft (huisvlijtigliesje.blogspot.com) I write as little as possible. By the way, I am a "follower" of yours only since this weekend and I like the fresh approach and original designs...

    1. Thanks Lies! I am also an image nerd and have always trawled through blogs looking only ever at the images. It wasn't until I started my own that I found how enjoyable the writing aspect is and now understand why everyone does it! Your blogs are beautiful... how on earth do you manage two! Tx

  4. I read your blog Tamara, not every day, but every week at least. All posts of yours are beautiful, visually and in writing. Day to day stuff is more interesting to me than anything else, actually because people’s stories inspire me and influence my work. Sometimes I wonder too if anyone read my little blog...Happy Tuesday to you too :)

    1. Thanks Maria!I know what you mean, I am also inspired by people's stories. It's a fine line between enough beautiful images coupled with the stories behind them I think. Your blog is gorgeous as are your hand printed textiles... congrats on the Home Beautiful inclusion! Thanks for reading the blog Tx
